This past Tuesday Isla Coronado with her Piccolo earned first chair at the TMEA Region 15 Orchestra auditions. This is another first for MCISD and Isla is the first student in the district this year to earn her position at the TMEA Area G 6A auditions that will take place at TAMU-CC in January for a chance at making the All-State Band. She will be performing with the Region 15 Symphony Orchestra at McAllen High School on November 10. Congratulations, Isla Coronado.
