The Calculator Applications team, coached by Mr. Noe Pena, took 1st place as the following students took individual honors: In 9th grade division, David Molina took 1st; in 10th grade division, Alejandro Hernandez took 1st place; Alyssa Garza took 2nd place in 11th grade division; and Edgar Garza took 2nd place and Samantha Alaniz took 7th place in 12th grade division.
In Mathematics Competition, David Medina placed 5th in 9th grade division and Alyssa Garza placed 4th in 11th grade division.
Coached by Mrs. Rosita Cantu, Sarah Alonzo place 6th and Raul Paez took 8th place in Spelling and Vocabulary competition.
Other top 10 placing included Anahi Rosales in Social Studies, Edgar Garza in Number Sense, Alyssa Garza in Science, Juan Reyna in Computer Science, and Leslie Barrera in Literary Criticism.
