With lots of time, dedication, and always persevering towards a brighter future our team “The Mighty ROBO-RANGERS” defended and proved that Hard-Work always pays off. We are extremely proud of the way our team handles pressure with great class and sportsmanship. Our Robo-Ranger Family has grown over the last 4 years and now represents the Alton Memorial Jr High and Mission High School members. Many of the original Robo-Rangers members are now Sophomores and Freshmen at Mission High and have established a legacy for the younger generations to follow. They have set the bar extremely high. They now work together with the rookie members by teaching them that in our team, we all gain and benefit from sharing the wealth. We are grateful for all the opportunities that our Robo-Ranger Program has offered to all our students and coaches of Mission CISD. We are advocates of Robotics, STEM, and allowing all students an opportunity to experience success. We are all thankful for the support of Mission CISD Administration, our Principals Ms. Garcia and Mr. Flores, our communities of Alton and Mission, the Chamber of Commerce, our schools of Alton Memorial and Mission High, and all the sponsors that volunteer time to help our students achieve excellence, and our parents for entrusting us with their children. As for our students, gaining the experience of competing, presenting, interviewing, and performing under pressure is something more than just Robots. It is the skills they will need to overcome many obstacles in life. Our "Mighty ROBO-RANGERS" are well disciplined, focused, and trained for something BIGGER and BETTER than a competition. We are getting them ready and prepared for setting-up their own futures. We are getting them ready with a well-deserved education to obtain a scholarship of their choice and to gain that dream job that seems unattainable at times. Our jobs as Coaches/Mentors/Sponsors is to provide the guidance and structure to achieve those goals. Our team creed, “Morphin’ the Minds of the Future” is what our team exemplifies at all times.
Our Mighty ROBO-RANGERS defended their TCEA Area 1 Robotics Championship Title by bringing home another 8 Trophies (the same as last year). We still swept 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in Intermediate Inventions division. 1st and 3rd in Intermediate Arena. Our 6th Grade Rookie team placed 2nd in the Advance (High School) Inventions division.
