Our computer applications team took 1st place with Sarah Lopez place 2nd and Iliana Pimentel placing 3rd individually. The team is coached by Ms. G. Gonzalez. In Current Issues and Events, Eri Longoria took 1st place and Violeta Rivera took 6th place. Their coach is Mr. A. Salinas. Edgar Garza placed 2nd in 10th grade Number Sense, Smanatha Alaniz placed 5th and Kimberly Ramon placed 6th place in 10th grade Calculators. The math teams are coached by Mr. N. Pena and Ms. R. Beglin. Angel Garcia placed 6th in Accounting, coached by Mr. R. Ocana. Jasmin Vega placed 7th in Ready Writing, coached by Mrs. G. Trevino. In Journalism, Alexia Puente took 1st place in Headline Writing, coached by Mr. J. Salinas.
