On October 11th at the City of Palms Contest the Band received a "Superior" Rating all the way across from all four judges. The Colorguard and Drumline earned 3rd place awards in conference 6A for their captions. On October 18th the Band Earned a "Superior" Rating from 3 UIL Judges at the 76th annual "Pigskin Jubilee" UIL Region 15 Marching Contest. Since Mission HS is in conference 6A the band has advanced to Area G marching Contest this weekend in San Antonio, TX. The band will be performing at 2:15pm at Farris Athletic Complex. The band is now a "back to back" Area qualifying Marching Band which it accomplished last year as a "4A" High School.
