Grulla HS held a JROTC Competition on February 15, 2014. Which included eight (8) schools from the Rio Grande Valley. Mission High School JROTC Eagle Battalion was one of those schools that competed in 10 events, including Volleyball, Cadet Carry, Tug of War, Shuttle Run, Basketball, Color Guard, Cadet Challenge, Armed Drill, Drill and Ceremony and Relay. The top three teams in each event received trophies. Mission High School Eagle Battalion received one 1st Place trophy for Drill and Ceremony; one 2nd Place trophy for Volleyball; and two 3rd Place trophies for Color Guard and Armed Drill.
