MHS Men's Varsity Choir rated Superior by all three judges

The Mission High School Varsity Men's Choir competed in the first annual South Texas Choral Festival at McAllen Memorial High School. The Varsity Men earned a Superior rating from all three judges after their performance on stage. In addition, the Varsity Men earned the "Best in Class" award by a unanimous vote of the judges.

The choir is pictured as follows:

Top row (L-R): Marcelino Ortiz, Angel Hernandez, Hector Oviedo, Esai Balderas, Christopher Barboza, and Eric DeLeon

Bottom row (L-R): J.J. Gaitan, Joel Guerrero, Xavier Alonzo, Frankie Chaires, and Oscar Salinas

The Varsity Men are under the direction of choir directors Kat Callaway and AnnaMarie Gonzalez.
