MHS Christmas Carolers Serenade MNRC Residents

The old-time tradition of Christmas Caroling has not faded in Mission, Texas. Seventeen Mission High School Health Science/HOSA students travelled to the Mission Nursing & Rehabilitation Center this Tuesday, December 17, 2013 to spread the greatest gifts of all -love and joy. Residents showed their gratitude with tears of joy, laughter, and by singing along.
One of the residents took the spotlight when she gave the students a speech about the true meaning of Christmas. She stated, “the meaning of Christmas is about Jesus being born in your heart every year; it’s not about worrying about what to buy”. The MNRC resident congratulated the students for understanding that giving their time to others in need is a valuable asset. She concluded by thanking Mission CISD for allowing the students to attend this activity.
