In addition to the TMEA Honor band results, UIL released their list of outstanding performers from the UIL State Wind Ensemble Festival. Only 16 bands were selected to perform at UT-Austin back in May. I already reported that we had 6 students earn their UIL State medals as outstanding soloists. What I found out today is that the judges only selected 16 total performers for this distinction from all bands and we were 6 of those 16 with no other school earning more than ours. Way to represent Eagles!
