Course Description AP World History-

The AP World History course is intended to increase and broaden the understanding of the evolution of human societies and their impact globally.  The course focuses on the origins of global frameworks and their causes and consequences, as well as the comparison of major societies. It also stresses the use of factual knowledge, interpretive qualities issues, types of historical evidence, and document and data analyzes. Emphasis is placed on constructing and evaluating arguments through the analysis of primary and secondary sources that span a range of global patterns and historical time periods.
