The Mission High School High Flyers dance and drill team attended the Showmakers of America Dance camp June 11 – June 14, 2014 on the campus of Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. The team received many individual awards as well as a Division 1 Sweepstakes award and Special Recognition ribbons for their home routine and camp dance performances. Receiving the All-Star honor was Rosa Gonzalez. Receiving Superlative honors were Crystal Hernández, Rosa González, Anahi Barajas, Julie García, Anjelica García and Kimmy Villarreal. With a long standing tradition of 35 years the High Flyers are proudly directed by Josie Flores and Oneida Saenz.
