In Spelling Competition, Diana Gamez took 6th place and Perla Del Angel took 8th place. The combination of scores from all 4 team members gave the spelling team a second place overall finish one point behind the winning team. The spelling team is coached by Mrs. Rosita Cantu.
In Calculator Competition, Alyssa Garza took 6th place in 12th grade division, Alejandro Hernandez took 3rd place in 11th grade division, David medina took 2nd place in 1oth grade division, and Gabriel Rodriguez took 2nd place, Lisa Garza took 3rd place and Marielah Davis took 4th place in 9th grade division. Overall, the team came in 2nd place and are coached by Miss Sahira Chapa.
In Number Sense, Alyssa Garza took 7th place in 12th grade division, and Gabriel Rodriguez took 4th place and Lisa Garza took 7th place in 9th grade division. In Mathematics, Lisa Garza took 4th place. The teams are coached by Miss Chapa and Miss Aleman.
In Literary Criticism, Leslie Barrera tied for third. The team is coached by Ms. Irazema Rodriguez.
In LD Debate, Alma Zamora took first place with a perfect score! The debate teams are coached by Mr. Carlos Longoria and Mr. Julio Ramos.
