Nelida also won 1st Place Class champion and Reserve Breed Champion at this year’s Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show.
A few of her honors include Breed Champion Fine wool Lamb at The Rio Grande Valley FFA District Show, Breed Champion at the MHS FFA Belt Buckle Show, Overall Grand Champion Lamb at the Mission FFA Alumni Show, and Reserve Breed Champion at the RGVLS.
This is the second year in a row that Nelida has managed to win 1st place Class Champion at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show with a fine wool lamb, which is not an easy goal to accomplish. Nelida is a junior at Mission High School and is excited about raising another fine wool lamb her senior year.
