Thirty students attended the “College Day Experience,” with Mr. Gerardo Navarro, Ms. Leanna Lopez, Ms. Victoria Rojas, and Ms. Alyssa Sanchez. Students were greeted by former Mission High School graduates to welcome the students to each respective university and to provide them with examples of their experiences with college life, balancing work with school, the professors’ expectations, and preparing to live away from home.
