JROTC TAKES 1st PLACE

...The competition hosted 27 high schools consisting of 440 JROTC Cadets in the Rio Grande Valley and surrounding areas. The cadets competed in eight events consisting of physical fitness, equipment carry, obstacle course, rope bridge, tomahawk bridge, Jacob's
ladder and the crawl gauntlet. Mission High School received a first place trophy for overall winner for beating 27 other high schools, a second place trophy for physical fitness, a second place trophy for the crawl gauntlet and a fifth place trophy for the obstacle
course. Mission High School is scheduled to be awarded the first place trophy by LTC Walter Llames, Professor of Military Science, University of Texas-Pan American on March 25, 2015. GOOOOO Mighty Eagles Battalion!!!!!!
