MHS FFA represents Texas at National Seminar.

Mission High School FFA members Johanna Jimenez, Jose Calderon and Advisor Benito Garza were the only 3 individuals selected to represent the State of Texas by the Society of Agricultural Education of Parliamentarians to participate in the National Qualifying Professional Parliamentarians Seminar. The group represented Mission CISD extremely well at this event and both Jose and Johanna were asked to serve as president at the National Seminar. Only 15 people are selected from across the country to participate and challenge the exams and assignments administered at the national event on a biannual basis. The group will now wait for the results of the exams and assignments to be mailed and find out if they have earned their Professional Accredited Parliamentarians Certification. The Event was held at the National FFA convention in Louisville, Kentucky on October 30, 2014.
